Hebrews 12:3

This contest celebrates Dr. King’s conviction to

promote love, equality and brotherhood.

As one family in Christ, we strive for peace through God, our Father. Our world is filled with division and suffering, but looking to Dr. King’s example encourages us to endure the troubles of the world by inviting God’s love and peace into our lives, homes, and communities. Dr. King once said, ‘We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world, for love is the only way.’ Dr. King believed that love has within it a redemptive power, a power that eventually transforms individuals. God’s love is creative, builds up and reunites those separated from one another.
