Dear Families,

As many of you remember, last year we did not open for the month of December, so that families had the chance to quarantine after traveling and visiting with family members. This year, we are doing everything we possibly can to remain safely open. Warren County continues to be an area of high transmission for COVID-19. The Delta variant continues to plague our community.  We want to be able to open after Thanksgiving Break.

In order to return after Thanksgiving Break, each child will need to complete one of these action items:

1.) send proof of COVID-19 vaccination
2.) show a negative COVID-19 test result from a lab (home tests are not accepted)
3.) request a COVID-19 test at school
4.) quarantine for 14 days after traveling
5.) agree not to travel, and remain at home for the holiday

Children may not return if they are showing symptoms or have been exposed to COVID during the break.

The protection and safety of your children are of the utmost importance. In being completely transparent, we were very close to shutting down at the beginning of the year due to COVID cases and exposures amongst students and staff.  I have had families ask if we will be able to safely open after Thanksgiving. We are doing our absolute best to make that happen.

Please fill out the attached card and return it to the office before you leave for break.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,
Meg DeMato and Mona Nixon

Every holiday season, we reach out to our community to help those in need. This year we have partnered with the Phoenix Project, a local agency that assists families dealing with domestic violence.

Please select from the gifts in the link below to help these three families during their time of need.

Please return unwrapped presents to the Front Office by Friday, December 10th.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Kathy Jacobs Picture Book Drive. Your contributions were very much appreciated!
