SEM PARAGON MLS UPDATE

Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS has recently separated from Realcomp and has joined MichRIC. This sudden change introduced several areas that did not exist in MichRIC. While Black Knight/ICE is currently working to resolve the issue, it’s taking much longer than anticipated.

MiRealSource and Black Knight hope to have this data updated early next week.

All licenses NO LONGER expire on October 31st of each year. Licenses expiration dates and CE requirements are now based on the anniversary date of licensure. The month and date of license expiration is now the new deadline each year to complete the 2 hours of legal credit.

Compensation Description

The Southeastern Michigan MLS has discovered that there been an issue in the past with the Realcomp MLS pulling in the Compensation Description statement from our MLS.

As a precaution, the MLS Directors are strongly suggesting that agents add graduated commission splits to the agent remarks when entering a listing. Also, using a ‘comma’ in the description may be adding to the issue. It is also suggested to no longer use a comma in the description.
