Pool Update
Dear Current and Future Members,

First and foremost, we hope this email finds you safe and healthy during these uncertain times. We are still very much hoping to have a season or, at least, part of a season. Much of this will be driven by the state (Governor DeWine), the CDC, and the Cincinnati Health Department guidelines. We have not made any decisions at this point, but are meeting every two weeks (via Zoom) to discuss backup plans for any scenario that might arise. Our top priority is your safety and the safety of our staff.

Our plan is to keep all of you in the loop and be totally transparent during the process. Currently, most of our projects and improvements have been placed on hold. There are still many unknowns. We don't know what "pool opening" will look like at this time. We realize that if, and when, we are able to open, there might be limitations on how many people can be on the property at any given time. We are working diligently to make sure we have plans in place to accommodate this and/or anything else that might arise.

We currently have 35 employees for this summer at MLSTC; however, only 5 of those employees have completed all of their training. Typically, these training sessions would be going on right now. Obviously, this cannot happen. SwimSafe, our management company, is working hard to keep all the employees up to date with online information but cannot do any physical training until the current restrictions are lifted.

We also realize that there are many financial burdens at the moment. If we cannot open in a timely manner, we have discussed fair refund options for our members. The exact size and scope of refunds will be determined by if, and when, we can open this summer. We hope to be in contact over the next few weeks with more information!

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Allison McBeath, a MLSTC member, for creating this new and awesome logo for the club! We are grateful for all the time she voluntarily spent working on this project. Thanks again, Allison!!

We really appreciate your patience during this difficult time and hope you are all healthy and in good spirits.
Thank you,
MLSTC Board
