MMA CEO Walsh Testifies on Manufacturing COVID-19 Recovery
MMA President & CEO John J. Walsh testified this morning before the Joint Select Committee on the COVID-19 Pandemic, praising the state’s manufacturing industry on their COVID-19 response and calling on the Legislature to act on initiatives that will help address ongoing challenges related to the pandemic. Together with executives from General Motors, Shape Corp., the Center for Automotive Research and MICHAuto, Walsh urged Lansing policymakers to protect companies from frivolous lawsuits, block unemployment tax increases, and support the state’s dynamic manufacturing industry with economic development incentives.
