Medicare MIPS Credits Available for CMS Study Participation 
Clinicians and groups eligible for Medicare's Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) can receive full credit in 2017 in the Clinical Practice Improvement Activities domain (worth 15 points) by participating in a study on quality measure data collection and reporting processes. Applications for the study will be accepted through Jan. 31. Read more here
Registration Now Open for Day at the Capitol
Physicians and physicians-in-training can now register for the MMA's annual Day at the Capitol event, taking place on Wednesday, Feb. 15. The afternoon event is a great opportunity to interact directly with lawmakers and advocate for pro-medicine legislation. Action Required: Members Asked to Vote on Proposed Bylaws Changes
MMA members should have received an email earlier this week asking them to vote on several bylaw changes created by the House of Delegates this past September. Members are being asked to vote by Jan. 15 on whether the proposed changes reflect the intent of Resolution 1, not to vote for or against the governance changes. Contact Dave Renner with questions.
