MMAC President Tim Sheehy & M7 Co-chair Gale Klappa Named 2017's Executives of the Year
The Milwaukee Business Journal has selected WEC Energy Group Chairman and M7 Co-chair Gale Klappa and Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce President Tim Sheehy as its 2017 Executives of the Year for their roles in securing Foxconn Technology Group's $10 billion manufacturing campus that is projected to bring 13,000 jobs to southeastern Wisconsin.

MMAC Unveils Interactive School Quality Map
The Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) unveiled an online school quality map for all Milwaukee County schools receiving public funds. The map provides an interactive, transparent tool for the community to identify and quantify success and areas in need of improvement in our region's publicly funded schools.

"We have a significant opportunity to impact the flow of talent into our economy through our K-12 school system," said MMAC President Tim Sheehy. "The MMAC Milwaukee School Quality Map gives parents and policy makers alike a common report card of which schools are succeeding and which are struggling in Milwaukee County. It also provides data to make informed decisions to expand, replicate or reform how we deliver K-12 education."
MMAC's World Trade Association will Host Global Economist to Provide Insights into 2018
The MMAC's World Trade Association will take a deep dive into the outlook for 2018 with global economist Chris Kuehl on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at its annual holiday program.

Kuehl is managing partner and co-founder of Lawrence, Kansas-based Armada Corporate Intelligence, which provides strategy foundation, competitive intelligence, business analysis and economic forecasting to corporate clients. Among its clients are KPMG and Hallmark International.
