I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying your summer!
I would like to forward this message from Gretchen Huedepohl with all of you:
First Christian Church in Jefferson City is in need of a choir accompanist for its Chancel Choir. The choir rehearses Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:45 p.m. September through May with occasional Wednesdays off following Christmas and Easter and as the season winds down. Currently the group sings three times a month in worship (twice at traditional 8:20 service, once at 10:40 contemporary service). If you have interest or know of someone who might be interested in this position, please contact me at [email protected] with your questions. Piano accompaniment is most often used.

After a lot thoughtful reflection, I have come to the decision to pass on the Musicathon chair to another member. I have been in that position for a few years and I would be happy to offer all the support I can to the next person who takes on that position. I’m assuming that at this point everyone has already renewed their membership, but just a friendly reminder, if have not done it yet, please do so ASAP.
