Dear MMAMTA members,
Happy March! We are now in the music festival season, which is a busy season for many of us. Federation in Columbia was this last weekend, and it was a great success. This weekend Jefferson City will be hosting Federation and I want to wish all the teachers and students the best of luck!
Musicathon was a huge success this year! In Columbia (Ayako Tsuruta, chair), we raised $841.00. In Jefferson City (Jan Houser, chair) we raised $3,000.00! That is impressive! Thank you so much to everyone who participated and helped in one way or another to raise funds to continue to support our music students!
This is also MSHSAA season, and many of us are involved in some way, either as a pianist accompanist, or preparing our students for auditions. For those of us participating in any shape or form, I want to whish you the best of luck!
As a reminder, April 1st is the deadline to turn in the Intention Form for the MMAMTA Summer Camp and Music Scholarships (Melissa Simons, chair).
