MICA MOUNTAIN NEW AP & SAT
Mica Mountain High School is excited to announce that the 400 House will now be the “home” to our newest Assistant Principal, Brittany Matsushino, and our newest Student Achievement Teacher, Claudette Webb. These ladies are both founding members of Mica Mountain and are extremely excited to continue to show their dedication to our school’s curriculum and instruction.

A few fun facts about Brittany and Claudette:
  • Both are married to fellow educators
  • Both are moms to Vail students
  • Both have been/are the Co-Sponsor to Student Government classes

Meanwhile, they balance each other:
  • One is short and the other is tall
  • One is a great dancer and the other has no rhythm.
  • One can’t stand mint chocolate chip ice cream and the other loves it!

Both ladies are here to serve Mica Mountain’s students, families, and staff with a fervor of dedication and enthusiasm. If you need them, please do not hesitate to reach out.

CHARACTER CORNER
Fall Break is a time to reset, reconnect, and rejuvenate. During quarter one your family has worked hard to establish new academic routines. We encourage you to use this time and connect as a family. This month, we dare you to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather by taking a hike and reconnecting with your family.

Remember each Dare utilizes the C.A.R.E model, (Conversation starters, Acts of kindness, Recreation and rest, and Expression of love) and lets you know what the area of focus is.
