A Note From the CEO

Hello, Angels,

“To everything there is a season,

and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

I feel deep in my soul that we are in a season of transformation. June has been marked by numerous beginnings and endings, filled with joy and sorrow, illness and health, as well as various celebrations. We have welcomed new members into our MMI community and bid farewell to those who have gone home to be with the Lord. Through it all, NOTHING can separate us from His love and mercy. Even when we are physically absent but spiritually present, He is with us!

God is always at work, striving to shape us into the best versions of ourselves—if we let

Him. His plans often differ from ours, requiring us to place our trust in Him. Change can

push us beyond our comfort zones, but it is in these challenging moments that we

experience the most growth. As we witness the shifting seasons, let us appreciate the

beauty of God’s craftsmanship in the world around us. May we find comfort and

reassurance in His unchanging presence, even amidst life's ever-changing tides.

There is a purpose for your season, and you are never alone. Even in the midst of

packing, sorting, and shipping, we are steadfastly supporting you in prayer, including the

unspoken requests. Angels, your work at MMI moves mountains every season. Thank

you all for being a light in this world, just as you are in mine.

Fiji 2024

Hey there, friends!

It's my sincerest pleasure to introduce you to our new Director of International Clinics: Micaela Martinez. Micaela is a long-time volunteer who's been coordinating volunteer opportunities with Fresno Pacific University Future Nurses Club. She joined the 2023 Fiji team and is on the 2024 Fiji team. She is smart, kind, and a natural leader and we're so glad she's joined our team in an even bigger capacity! If you see her around the warehouse, congratulate her on her recent graduation and passing the boards.

It's also my pleasure to offer a sincere "Thank You!" to our long-time director of international clinics: Rachel Wise. Rachel has been a faithful volunteer for over 10 years and we're grateful for the the work she's done. We wish her the best in her new adventure abroad.

We're ever so grateful for our director of travel teams, because we're leaving for Fiji in 9 days! We're planning, packing and doing all the last minute things we can to ensure successful clinics in the remote villages of Vanua Levu. Please keep us in prayer along with the villages we'll be visiting.

Thank you to everyone who sent supplies for the Fiji medical clinics. You all are the best and it's a privilege to partner with you to bring good health and the Gospel to the Fijian people. I can't wait to tell you about it. Stay tuned and keep an eye out for the August newsletter for an update. And, please keep praying for us!

Fiji Supplies Wishlist

Second Saturday Serve Day is THIS Saturday!

We are back in the warehouse for a Second Saturday Workday this Saturday, July 13 from 9-noon!

Come join us this Saturday, July 13 from 9:00-12:00 at our Broadway St. warehouse for a morning of service, coffee, snacks, and fellowship.

No experience is necessary and you will be supported by our excellent, expert volunteers. You’ll be done by noon to enjoy the rest of your weekend. Just bring yourself and closed-toe shoes. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, but haven’t done it, this is your sign, come join us!
