A Visit With Pastor Jacob Lang

Pastor Jacob Lang is a minister with the Assemblies of God church in Jos, Nigeria. He is no stranger to MMI, and we were delighted and blessed with the opportunity to spend time with him at a recent visit to the Broadway St. warehouse. We’re looking forward to partnering with Pastor Jacob again.

'23 Annual Gala

The Partnership Council is planning a fabulous event. Mark your calendars for Friday, August 25, for a fantastic meal, and a message from CRMC trauma and general surgeon, Dr. David Jeffcoach, where you will hear how MMI has partnered with the work Sodo Christian Hospital in Sodo, Ethiopia.

From Trash to Treasure

Many thanks to Life Cathedral Church in Fresno for recently donating an old fireworks stand! The wood from the stand will be used to crate and protect many pieces of fragile medical equipment during its journey overseas. It will also be used again at the end destination.

Our travel team is forming, with about 30 committed team members from all over California. Praise the Lord! If you are still interested but haven’t yet submitted an application, please get in touch with the MMI travel teams coordinator, Brooke, ASAP.

Volunteer Update: Join Us in the Warehouse This Saturday!

Kudos and thanks to the great group of medical students from California Health Sciences University (CHSU) in Clovis who volunteered to sort medical supplies on Saturday, April 22. This was a hardworking crew, and we’re grateful for their time and support.

Join us for our next Saturday Serve Day on May 13^th from 9:00–12:00 at our Broadway St. warehouse. No medical experience is necessary; we’ll teach you everything you need. Come with closed-toe shoes and the willingness to get your hands dirty. We’ll have snacks, a corny joke, and the opportunity to be featured in a future newsletter.
