It’s Been a Joyfully Busy Season at MMI!

God is on the move, and we’re thrilled to share how He’s been opening doors, building connections, and guiding every detail of our work. It’s been a bustling season at Medical Ministries International, and we’re in awe of the many ways He continues to bless our mission!

Small Shipments, Big Impact

Did you know that over the course of the year, MMI sends out so many partial shipments that together they equal one full 40-foot container? That’s right—small but mighty! And each shipment is a testament to God’s faithfulness, orchestrating every person, pallet, and package to bring healing across the globe. Just in the last few months, we’ve sent partial shipments to Ukraine, Haiti, and Tajikistan—each with its own incredible story.

Spotlight: Ukraine

Our ongoing partnership supporting Ukraine is a powerful example of God working through His people. Just last year, we sent over 3,000 lbs of medical supplies, and already this year we’ve sent 2,050 lbs more! Most recently, six pallets of supplies made their way to the front lines of need thanks to:

• Samaritan’s Purse – our amazing ministry partners,
• Kevin Watts – a generous truck driver who volunteered to haul the shipment to the East Coast free of charge,
• Dnipro Shipping – a Ukrainian company that offered discounted international shipping,
• And of course, you – our faithful MMI family whose prayers and support make all this possible!

We’re especially grateful to Jeff Schrager, Kevin Watts, and the entire Samaritan’s Purse team for helping bring this mission to life.

Every shipment is a story of provision, collaboration, and hope—and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more incredible updates as we continue to serve together in Christ’s name!

Equipment in Action: Through a partnership with FAME (Fellowship of Associates of Medical Evangelism), MMI sent two vascular endoprostheses that were urgently needed. FAME then purchased additional units and helped coordinate their delivery to doctors serving on the frontlines in Ukraine.

Just a few days ago, one of those life-saving devices was used in a critical surgery performed by Dr. Serhii Furkalo. The patient? A brave Ukrainian soldier who had been severely injured by shrapnel and evacuated from southern Ukraine. He was suffering from a dangerous arteriovenous fistula — a condition that, if left untreated, could have resulted in amputation or even heart failure.

But because of your generosity and God’s perfect timing, a vascular endograft was available. The surgery was successful — his leg was saved, and today he’s on the road to recovery.

Hope Delivered to Haiti

We’re excited to share that MMI recently delivered a partial shipment of medical supplies to support the incredible work happening at CHFF (Centre Hospitalier de Fontaine) in Fontaine, Haiti!

This vital shipment helped equip the hospital with much-needed medical resources to continue serving communities beyond Cité Soleil, where access to healthcare is extremely limited. CHFF is a beacon of hope, providing compassionate care in an area deeply affected by poverty and instability — and MMI is honored to come alongside them.

Breakthrough in Tajikistan!

After four years of prayer, persistence, and planning, we’re thrilled to share that a partial shipment of eye equipment — including a scope and slit lamps — has finally arrived in Tajikistan!

This long-awaited delivery will equip local doctors to provide better eye care to countless patients in need. The medical team there was deeply grateful and asked us to pass along their heartfelt thanks to the entire MMI community.

Your support continues to open eyes — literally and spiritually — around the world. Thank you for standing with us in this journey!

Fiji Mission Trip 🌺

We’re thrilled to share that our Fiji mission team is now at full capacity and preparing to serve from July 15–29! This dedicated group of healthcare professionals and volunteers will be traveling to the islands to provide much-needed medical care, sharing the love of Christ through both word and deed.

As a Christian ministry, we believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus by meeting physical needs while also offering spiritual encouragement. This trip is an opportunity to extend both healing and hope to underserved communities.

Now, we need your help.
