Welcome to the Team!

While there are always exciting things happening at MMI, this summer has been exceptionally busy for our hardworking team. In addition to the day-to-day work, we sent our first mission team in three years, hosted a larger, expanded gala, and continued an extensive search for warehouse space. In addition to all of this, we eagerly welcomed a new board member.

In August, David Armstrong officially joined the board. He is a long-time friend of MMI and we are excited to welcome him in this new role. His wife, Gina, is a talented interior designer who has styled many of the centerpieces for our annual fundraising galas over the years. If you see David or Gina around, make sure you welcome them and let them know they’re appreciated with a high five, handshake, or fist bump.

Join Us in the Warehouse This Saturday!

Our next Saturday Serve Day is September 9 from 9:00–12:00 at our Broadway St. warehouse.

In Uganda, many children are not given names until their second birthday because 6 out of ten children don’t live long enough to reach that milestone. We want to change that. Please join us at our next Packing Party on Saturday, October 14, and each second Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Please come and see what we do! No medical experience? No problem! Come with closed-toe shoes and the willingness to get your hands dirty. You’ll be greeted by our friendly and experienced crew, who will guide you through everything you need to know. We’ll have tasty snacks available, and you will be done before lunch!

We’re excited to meet you and show you what it takes to get medical supplies and hope to places in need.
