A NOTE FROM MS. CHRISTINA MILLER
Dear Millhopper Montessori Families,

On behalf of the faculty, staff and myself, I thank you for choosing Millhopper Montessori for your family. I am grateful for the opportunity to work in a child-centered learning environment alongside exemplary educators. Our 2017-2018 academic year culminated in an outstanding accreditation process with the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) and a celebration of our 40th year with two reunion parties.

Looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year, we will be entering a new spiral dynamic in curriculum design that will afford our students an authentic STEAM curriculum based on Montessori principles, 21st Century skills, and will foster their love of learning. The spirit of teamwork present in our MMS community of faculty and families is exceptional and unique.

Our vision is to cultivate a diverse and inclusive community that promotes knowledge, creativity, independent thinking and mutual respect.

I look forward to working with you and your children throughout the 2018-2019 school year.

Sincerely,

Christina Miller

Join the Millhopper Montessori P.T.O.!

The Millhopper Montessori School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to welcome you to our school. For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators and support staff who are dedicated to successful education of our children. The MMS PTO works hard to make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers and parents.

The purpose of our organization is to aid the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs; to unify administration, teachers, and parents and to encourage MMS school spirit and pride.

We are looking forward to meeting families that would like to get involved with our PTO this year. We highly encourage you to not only join our organization but get involved as well! Everything we do is based on volunteers and we are always looking for those of you to help make a difference in the lives of our children. Many hands make the job easier!

YEARBOOK UPDATE

The 2017-2018 yearbooks are on their way! Families will be notified when they are in and ready to be picked up.

This past school year, we tried something new - a new yearbook company along with a later deadline so we could include more end-of-year events and activities. After experiencing this change and the time delay, w e will return to releasing the yearbook before the end of the school year and not including the events that occur the last few months.

Sincerely,
Ms. Jennifer Kuntz
