A Note from Steve

All of us at MMS wish you a very Happy and Safe New Year. We are excited about going into 2023 as we will be releasing our first complete rewrite of our ProBalance software and firmware applications in January. You will see more information on “What’s New” in the next section but this is only the first of many new functions and features of this MMS product line that we will be rolling out in 2023.

What is new with ProBalance®

We’re excited to announce that ProBalance® 2.0 is complete and being Field Tested as you read this. Listed below are some of the highlights of the new software which we believe our customers will find much more “User Friendly” and intuitive.

  • We’ve redesigned the User Interface
  • Improved setup functions with better grouping and labeling
  • Larger tabular data views
  • Better bar charts with more parameters
  • Tab style layout for ease of maneuvering around the display
  • Web based display

  • More comprehensive logging of events

  • More comprehensive user messages as events and changes occur

  • Increased speed of acquisition to update user interface at a faster rate

  • Much easier system troubleshooting

  • Pressure curves now have a much faster update mode

  • Reports have been enhanced
  • Now have valve positions added for ProBalance® Plus systems
  • Added technician names to report with signature space

  • Added incoming customer Modbus data view for ease of connection verification

  • Multiple user access with passwords or PINs, configurable by supervisor level

  • More sensor checking and reporting for diagnostics

  • Valve positions logged more frequently along with valve temperatures

  • Added a Tech Page for more comprehensive system setup and testing

Many of these modifications are a direct result of our current customers’ inputs and requests so we will, of course, be updating all of our existing systems in the field in the very near future.

As you know, one of the security features of our system is its complete dissociation from the Internet and World Wide Web. For this reason, the updates will require a station visit which we’ll coordinate over the next few weeks.
