As we move into 2022, you will see some significant enhancements to all aspects of MMS’s Operation from talented new personnel, new alliance partners like CECO, Resonance Systems, ACI Services Radical Combustion Technologies and STI along with some exciting new products like our new Sentinel Compressor Performance Monitoring system.

This newsletter was developed to keep our customers in the loop with what MMS is doing to help you maintain the health and safety of your reciprocating and centrifugal machines. We would also like to introduce you to our newly updated website. The website has the latest information regarding all of our products, services and alliance partners.
What's new - Sentinel® - CPM
Sentinel - CPM is a comprehensive online compressor health and safety monitoring system developed in collaboration with ACI Services. The new product incorporates ACI’s eRCM kernel which is an industry standard compressor modeling software program, allowing the CPM module to compare actual measured data to the model for advanced alarming and diagnostics. In addition, the new system meets the latest TSA requirements for Network Security measures  We are also working with Resonance Systems to allow users of their Rmonix web based software application to view the data for additional remote diagnostic capability. More information to follow.

Why using the right equipment is important in Engine Balancing
The pressures being collected by the balancer must be an accurate representation of the combustion pressures in the cylinders. The condition of the pressure sensor, the condition of the indicator passage and valve, the presence of resonant pressure waves in the pressure trace, or leakage in the indicator path will prevent an accurate balance.
