CALLING ALL VOTERS
It's election season! All eligible voters are encouraged to register to vote.
You can register online at https://registertovote.ca.gov/ by Monday, October 21. You can also register at polling stations and by mail. And everyone can come--including neighbors, friends, and family--to a Ballot Education Event on Zoom, co-sponsored by San Gabriel Presbytery and LA Voice. The event will be on Wednesday, October 16,
7:00-8:30 pm.

~Presbytery approved the 2025 pastor compensation minimums. Find the overview of the numbers, along with a summary of the benefits policy changes, HERE.
~Remember to decide with your pastors on the new plan for 2025 by October 4. Go to https://www.pensions.org/decision-guide/ to calculate the costs for BoP coverage plans for 2025. ~The Justice Peacemaking and Mission Committee has compiled a list of resources for unhoused neighbors seeking help, but we'd like to update it, especially for services outside of Pasadena--like our churches' food pantries in El Monte, Highland Park, and elsewhere. Frances Namoumou of Fiji comes with expertise in climate justice and ecological stewardship, and disaster and displacement management.
On Wednesday, September 25, she will be at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, speaking at 11 am and staying for lunch, and then at Pilgrim Place in Claremont at 3 pm.
