BECOMING GOOD STEWARDS OF PROPERTY WE OWN

The Presbytery is forming a committee to review church property use and ways churches can maximize their local community ministry by providing low-income housing, community gardens, increasing facility utilization, and exploring how to make their spaces more multifunctional.

This is not an attempt to keep the doors open, but rather a way to use what God has given us to meet the ministry needs in our local communities.

If you are interested in participating on the committee, please get in touch with Lisa Hansen at lisa@sangabpres.org.

If you are considering developing underutilized land, Congregational Land Partners (CLP) offers a local option. To learn more, please see their attached flyer below

PRESBYTERIAN FEDERAL CHAPLAINCY

Did you know that Chaplains who work in the Federal Government for the Veterans Administration, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and the Military are recommended by their Presbyteries to be endorsed by the Presbyterian Federal Chaplaincy? This organization supports the work of these chaplains and provides for their annual training. We currently have a Chaplain Candidate endorsed by the PFC to serve in the Army Reserve. We are proud of Evlyn Roper's work as she continues on her path to ordination in the PC(USA). Attached is the PFC Summer Newsletter to help

you learn more about

their mission and ministry.

2026 Season of Prayer and Reflection - Weekly Guide

From June 25 to August 15, the PC(USA) invite us to join in a Season of Prayer and Reflection in the Korean Peninsula, marking both the beginning

of the Korean War and Korea’s

liberation from Japanese occupation.

During this season, we pray for peace, healing, and reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula, trusting in Christ who breaks down dividing walls and brings peace. We pray for the people of both South

and North Korea, and for the church to

bear witness to Christ’s hope and light.

Each Thursday, we invite you to pause by setting an alarm on your phone at

12:14 PM and praying with us.

These weekly prayer guides in

English and Korean will help us

pray alongside the global church
