~The Justice Peacemaking and Mission Committee has compiled a list of resources for unhoused neighbors seeking help, but we'd like to update it, especially for services outside of Pasadena--like our churches' food pantries in El Monte, Highland Park, and elsewhere. You can find the list HERE Please take a look and if you want to make additions or changes, contact Patrick Perry at perryting@sbcglobal.net

WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER

We remember Knox Presbyterian Church, Pasadena, in our Prayers of the People this week, along with prayers for peace in the Middle East.

And on this one-year anniversary of the killing and abduction of thousands of individuals in Israel, we pray fervently for the return of hostages, the cessation of violence across the Middle East, and comfort for the countless number of families who grieve loved ones and who lost homes in Gaza, in the West Bank, across Israel and throughout the Middle East.

Hurricane Helene:

Give, Act, Pray

Hurricane Helene has taken more lives than any US hurricane since Katrina. Please learn more about the storm, our Presbyterian response, and ways you can give at https://pda.pcusa.org/situation/hurricane-helene/.
