IT'S ANNUAL
SURVEY TIME!!
Each year, the Commission on Ministry asks for the Teaching Elders, Commissioned Ruling Elders, Commissioned Pastors, Honorably Retired Pastors, and Teaching Elders at-large to fill out a survey to let the Commission know more about your ministry and ways that they can support your work. Please complete your appropriate form as soon as you can and submit no later than December 18, 2024.
Your completed form will be read by Stated Clerk for Administration, Carrie Kohler, and a member of the Commission on Ministry. COM will pray for the prayer requests at our January meeting and will address concerns and suggestions during the first meetings of 2025.

The 2025 Pasadena Homeless Count
Needs Volunteers
Wednesday, January, 22 (8 -10 pm) and Thursday, January, 23 (6-8 am)
Everyone is part of a team of 4-5 people that helps count and administer a survey to everyone experiencing homelessness. Every team works in an assigned zone on both days. Data collected gets needed services to people without shelter.
Virtual training is provided.

Spend a few hours one evening driving around your area doing a visual-only tally of everyone without shelter, so that the L.A. Homeless Services Authority can provide services where they are most needed. Training for volunteers is provided.

HOLDING FAITH IN GOD'S GOODNESS WORKSHOP
As we face a new year of uncertainty and turmoil, many are troubled by the question of theodicy: can we believe in God's goodness in the face of tremendous suffering and evil?
Many have expressed interest in Open Theism as a response to that question. This is a free, four-week online workshop that is an intro to Open Theism.
