UPDATED RESOURCES FOR

EATON FIRE SURVIVORS


~Altadena Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)


540 W. Woodbury Road, Altadena


This is the new address for the DRC. The one at PCC has closed.


~One-on-one private consultation

from Presbytery members and friends, including a free house market valuation

and preliminary title report (contact Wendy Gist for information) and

consultation on real estate and insurance options with Renee Chen this Tuesday and Thursday, 1-3 pm, and Saturday, 9 - 11 am  Contact Renee directly at 626.376.8085 you can talk on the phone or meet with her in person at San Marino Community Church.

 

~The Little Tokyo Service Center is

offering case management, counseling, and basic support like food, storage, and receiving mail for all regardless of race, though they have expertise in working with Asian clients. See flyer in Japanese, Korean, and English HERE

~The Small Business Administration

(SBA) administers low-interest loans for individual homeowners as well as

businesses.  Go to sba.gov/california-wildfires for information on eligibility and applications.

 

~For everyone: All Federal and

State tax filing deadlines have been extended to October 15, 2025 for all

county residents and businesses. This includes individual income tax returns

and payments, as well as estimated tax payments originally due in 2025. This

deadline extension is automatic; you don't have to file anything until October.

DISASTER RECOVERY TOWN HALL

 

Join the City of Pasadena for our weekly virtual Disaster Recovery Town Hall every Friday at 12:30 p.m. live on Pasadena Media until February 28.

 

Each week, subject matter experts from the City of Pasadena will provide recovery information for those affected by the Eaton Fire.

2025 PASADENA HOMELESS COUNT RESCHEDULED



Wednesday, February 19 (8-10 pm), and Thursday, February 20 (6-8 am)


Everyone is part of a team of 4-5 people that helps count and administer a survey to everyone experiencing homelessness. Every team works in an assigned zone on both days. Data collected gets needed services to people without shelter.

Virtual training on Feb. 12 at 6:30 pm.

2025 GREATER L.A. HOMELESS COUNT RESCHEDULED


San Gabriel Valley (not Pasadena)

Spend a few hours one evening driving around your area doing a visual-only tally of everyone without shelter, so that the L.A. Homeless Services Authority can provide services where they are most needed. Training for volunteers is provided.
