2025 MN Metro Board

We have a 2025 Chapter President and Board and are ready to go!. 

Anita Nelson, currently our Marketing Chair and Board Member, has agreed to step up for one year as Chapter President (THANK YOU, ANITA!!). Joining her on the board will be Kymberly Eide (stepping down from President role) and Kristie Hotze who has one more year on her term as Treasurer/Secretary.  

We will be looking to add at least one additional board member this year to ensure we have some overlapping terms. If you’d like to join us in leading and planning the chapter activities on the Board, please reach out via email at contactmnmetrogolf@gmail.com

Seeking: 2025 Committee Leads and Team Members

We are actively seeking chapter volunteers to help us in 2025 with membership, marketing, events and other programs – includes committee members and one-time roles.

Specifically seeking Social Media help. 

Our chapter needs help for our social media activities including maintaining our Facebook and Instagram sites and posts, and helping us with Facebook ads and promotions. If you’re interested in learning how to do this and are not yet a ‘guru’, we have identified a path for training to learn how to support our social media programs. 

MN Metro Biggest Loser Handicap

Winner Announced

Congratulations to Kristie Hotze!

She is the winner of our Biggest Loser Handicap contest for 2024 and has received the $100 prize.

Out of the 15 contestants who signed up for this contest, Kristie "lost" the most by decreasing her handicap by the highest percentage. Participation was easy - register, provide your GHIN and swing away! Anyone with a GHIN handicap who posted at least 10 rounds during the contest window (June - August) qualified. If you want to be the biggest loser next year, be sure to check the newsletter in the spring.

Year End Holiday Party

When: Saturday, December 7th

Time: 2 to 5pm

Where: Near Ridgedale Shopping Center

The event will be free to members and member guests and, as in the past, we will be supporting a local charity so donations are encouraged. Look for additional information in the Mid-Month newsletter.
