New Year Message from Our President

Happy 2025! As the newly elected chapter president, I want to extend warm wishes for the new year. Planning for our season is already underway and I’m excited for a great season ahead. This year, one key focus will be attracting new members to our chapter and we’ll be launching a 6-week golf readiness program that will appeal to newer golfers who want to learn the rules, basic golf etiquette, get our on the driving range and play a Par 3.

Mark your calendars for the weekend of April 12th and 13th where will have both a live and virtual tee-off event to kick off our season and announce our league sign-ups. Membership Renewal

All 2024 memberships expired on 12/31/24 and members have until March 15, 2025 to renew at the rate of $120 (or $85 if over 65), before being charged the higher rejoin rate. Members who haven't renewed their membership will be considered no longer current, and you need to be current in your dues in order to register in Golf Genius and participate in Chapter and Association-wide events. Instructions to renew are available at this link.

Volunteers Needed

We are still seeking volunteers to fill out areas we need for the year, specifically a marketing/social media person who knows how to plan and execute social media ad campaigns (or who is willing to learn this skill) as we seek to grow awareness and membership for the chapter. Please contact us at contactmnmetrogolf@gmail.com

Unique LPGA Amateur Benefit 

Ever been on vacation or traveling for work and wished you had someone to play golf with?  LPGA Amateurs have chapters across the country and may have one in whatever city you’re in. You can find all the Chapter locations along with their contact information on the National site. By contacting a Chapter, you may be able to join one of their events, play a league date or meet up with a few members for a round.
