Dear MNLGA Members:

This e-mail is distributed to key contacts; please feel free to share with others in your office.

Thank you all for your patience and feedback regarding the Governor's Order of March 23rd.

I just received formal statement from MDA regarding status that independent garden centers are open for business! Please see below. Thank you to our members for remaining vigilant and communicative while this affirmation process took place.

"Nurseries, greenhouses and independent garden centers are considered essential and may remain open. Retail businesses that remain open are strongly encouraged to modify their operations to conduct as much business as possible remotely, and to limit in-store interactions where practicable (e.g., by making products available for delivery or curbside pick-up to limit in store browsing).

Please reference the COVID-19 resource page, linked on the homepage of the MNLGA website, www.mnlga.org, particularly the social distancing and sanitation precautions issued for COVID-19.

Please keep me informed of what is going on with your business. If I know what is going on, I may be a better resource to you and to other members as we navigate together this uncharted territory. Feel free to email me at Vanessa @mnlga.org.
