Governor Hogan is finishing up a press conference. There have been no additional restrictions put in place on the conduct of business, other than the continued plea for continued minimization of contact to help curb the spread of COVID-19. There is still no order to stay home, rather very strong request to stay home unless engaged in essential duties/needs. Governor Hogan did note that Marylanders are doing a much better job responding to COVID-19 precautionary directives.

State School Superintendent, Dr. Karen Salmon announced that public schools will be closed at least through April 24 th

A few resources and updates:

  1.  AmericanHort is hosting a webinar today at 1:00 EST. “The Families First Coronavirus Response Act: Answering Tax and Labor Questions”  Link to Register The recording will be made available on the AH Coronavirus Resource Center page.
  2.   Karen Rane offers that you may e-mail her photos for issues in need of diagnosis. She, like many, is working from home and will do her best to give you diagnosis from photos. She may be reached at rane@umd.edu
