For this month, we wanted to dedicate our member highlight to our very special, intelligent, and kind-hearted member, friend, and leader, Shannon Lewes.
Shannon is 18 years old and just graduated from high school. She has been coming to McCormack-Nagelsen for over three years and her love for tennis has only gotten stronger and stronger. Neely has taken Shannon under her wing and has helped her to become an even better tennis player and individual. Shannon will be attending Virginia Wesleyan University in the fall and will be playing on their Division 3 Tennis Team! We are so proud of her and will miss seeing her on a regular basis!
In the next year, Shannon plans on playing in the line-up for VWU'S tennis team, bringing ACEing Autism to VWU, and being involved in campus activities and events. Within the next five years, Shannon hopes to become a certified Tennis Coach, become the VWU's Assistant Tennis Coach, and go on a mission trip.
Shannon's biggest life long goal is to help people know their purpose in life and to help them find that and live with passion. She wants to live her life to the absolute fullest and live boldly and continue going out of her comfort zone.
Shannon values community, friendship, and connection and hopes to keep strong relationships with the MNTC family!
