Dear Tennis Family and Friends,

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer! We had our best summer yet with with record breaking numbers over eight full weeks of summer & High Performance camps, as well as four weeks of very successful ACEing Autism sessions. The adult leagues continued through the summer months with some new players, and our intermediate clinics continued growing. We also all enjoyed the Wilson Demo day and our first annual High School Day!  

We will be closed Monday, September 5th for Labor Day. We hope everyone has a lovely holiday. After school clinics & high performance will start September 6th - view more information below or visit the Junior Page and the High Performance page to learn more.

We are excited to offer 3 USTA tournaments this fall season.

The Tribe Women's Tennis Team will be practicing on all 6 courts from 9 - 11:30 am. on September 2, 7, 9, 14 & 16, and again on September 17 & 18 for the Tribe Invitational. Matches will be indoors and outdoors - come support the Tribe!

Leagues have gone back to 2 month sessions. We have adjusted our adult offerings for the fall as well, see below or on our adult page. Be on the lookout for our Club Championships tournament information to come out soon.

Michael

Welcome Coach Michelle 

We are so excited to have Coach Michelle on our team. She will be assisting in junior clinics, High Performance and teaching private lessons. 

Michelle started playing tennis at age 4, competed for the first time at age 8, played two COSAT (South America Tennis Confederation) tours at ages 12 and 13 and earned a place on the European Tour at age 13 based on her ranking.  Michelle played her first WTA tournament at age 14 and continued playing ITF throughout her teenage years.



Michelle was awarded a scholarship to play Division 1 college tennis for James Madison University at age 17, starting in January 2019 and graduating in May 2022.  While playing for JMU, Michelle was a designated athlete coach for her teammates and also volunteered to coach junior tennis.  At JMU, Michelle majored in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Michelle is currently a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the W&M School of Education.

ACEing Autism

Many thanks to all the players, parents & volunteers who made our four week summer 2022 ACEing session a great one!

The Tribe High Performance crushed training throughout summer camps & summer tournament season. Way to go Coach Chris, HP Coaches and Players! We are all eager to kick off the fall indoor season with an extra day of training and three new former Tribe players assisting the program! Red: Tuesday & or Thursday 4:30-5:30 PM

Green: Wednesday & or Friday 4-5 PM

Yellow: Monday 4-5:30 PM & or Friday 5-6:30 PM
