Describe your life in 3 words
"Efficiency, enjoyment, and presence. As a sophomore, I’ve realized it’s important to stay in the moment. With academics and spending 4 hours on court every day with your best friends and teammates, it goes by quicker than you expect."
Favorite part of W&M
"The rigorous academics. A great athletic program that has a shot at winning the conference every year and great coaches."
Free time & other hobbies
When he's not on the tennis courts you can find him riding Verbolten at Busch Gardens with his teammates or at different restaurants exploring new cuisines. "I also enjoy meditation," Danny says, "it’s important to take a moment out of your day to be present."
How did you begin playing tennis?
Danny's tennis journey is memorable to him. “I got into tennis really young when I was 4 years old. I had too much energy so I had to get out of the house."
What inspires you & keeps you going
“How much my teammates, coaches, and I want to win championships. We want to be the best we can be. It's a different kind of feeling playing for a team and the whole school than playing individually in juniors.”
