President's Message
2020 has been an interesting year. We started the year with new leadership for MO-ACHE as well as a new administration of the chapter. The transition to the management arrangement has been successful as evidenced by Pam Dykstra, the MO-ACHE Administrator, receiving the Missouri Regent’s Award for her contributions to the chapter this year. In addition to this successful transition, the chapter also hosted several educational events awarding a full slate of face to face hours for members. This could not have happened without the leadership of the local programming councils and their dedication to meeting the needs of the members.

As we look ahead to 2021, know that your chapter leadership continues to look for creative ways to offer education, networking, and mentorship. ACHE has approved the use of virtual education for face to face credit through the first half of 2021 and we look forward to resuming in-person opportunities in the second half of the year.

Finally, we continue to look for sponsors to increase the reach of our programming. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a sponsor please contact Pam Dykstra.

Have a happy and safe holiday season.

Thank you to our members who have been engaging and resourceful, during a challenging time as a healthcare leader. Our role as leaders in the industry is to create stability in an unstable environment, and fortunately, ACHE is here to support you in doing just that. Below is a link to the COVID-19 Resource Center.

This time of year, I like to take time to pause and reflect on the many blessings in my life. I am grateful for my family, my health, my friendships, and my blessings. I am humbled and honored to serve as your Regent. Thank-you.

COVID-19 RESOURCES
The online COVID-19 Resource Center is updated regularly with new COVID-19 Front-Line Leader Series webinars and podcasts, along with numerous other free resources for healthcare leaders.

In this new operating environment, ACHE has launched the national virtual Face-to-Face courses as another opportunity for members to earn credit for advancement and recertification. These will be extended through the first half of 2021 as well!

REGENT AWARDS
I was honored to present our 2020 Regent Awards on November 4, 2020, to Pamela Dykstra, MO-ACHE's Coordinator, and Loraine Uebele, FACHE, MO-ACHE's Programming Chair. Both of these deserving recipients responded immediately to transition our educational offerings to a virtual format for our membership. Congratulations and a special thank you to these remarkable leaders.
