President's Message
As 2020 continues to be an unprecedented year, I want to focus on the work of the local programming councils. MO-ACHE received guidance from ACHE that local chapters are allowed to offer virtual face to face education credits for the first time.  To make these education opportunities available four of the state’s local programming councils took the lead and quickly organized events for members to attend. While there have been challenges with coordinating the technology with ACHE national, we are committed to providing members with a process to earn face to face credit. I want to say thank you to the local programming councils for taking leadership and developing great educational opportunities. I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and register for sessions of interest to you. Upcoming sessions are detailed below.

Ashley McClellan, FACHE, MBA, MHA
As we lead in our industry through the pandemic, we draw upon experiences and a multitude of learnings to guide us as we continue to fight COVID-19, the most uncontrollable and unpredictable enemy, our healthcare providers, have faced in more than a century. ACHE is here to support you, and with that in mind, below is the latest link to ACHE COVID-19 Resources.

COVID-19 RESOURCES
The online COVID-19 Resource Center is updated regularly with new COVID-19 Front-Line Leader Series webinars and podcasts, along with numerous other free resources for healthcare leaders.
In this new operating environment, ACHE has launched the national virtual Face-to-Face courses as another opportunity for members to earn credit for advancement and recertification.
Thank you for the tireless work that you and your organizations are doing to serve your patients and communities daily.

Exam Authorized and Recertification Extensions
Individuals who are currently Exam Authorized with an application expiration date occurring in 2020 have been extended and will expire on December 31, 2020.
Recertification deadlines have been extended for the 2019 and 2020 classes. Each recertification class must have met all the requirements, submitted their application, and paid the recertification fee by the new deadlines.
