MOBILITY MONDAY

Message From Our Executive Director, Greg Stuart

The latest edition of our Broward MPO's Mobility Monday newsletter is about celebrating our accomplishments and encouraging our team members to live life to the fullest. This week, we're recapping the Lyons Road Mobility Project, a major accomplishment that is part of the Broward MPO's investment of more than $300 million to create safer, healthier communities in Broward. We're also sharing some amazing footage of our Communications Principal Coordinator, Khyra Everette, living her best life and conquering the Flying Dutchmen, the world's steepest zip line, in St. Maarten. At the Broward MPO, we believe in a healthy balance between work and life. So while our talented team of professionals spends most of their days working hard on community projects, they also know how to have some much-needed fun outside of work. Way to go, Khyra! In future editions of Mobility Monday, we will continue to spotlight the adventures of our Broward MPO team - both on and off the clock.

The Lyons Road Mobility Project Celebration Was Epic!

More than 100 guests joined us on August 26 to celebrate the completion of the Lyons Road Mobility Project and recognize the contributions of Congressman Ted Deutch. Check out the event photo gallery below!

Here's How You Conquer the World's Steepest Zip Line

Check out our Communications Principal Coordinator Khyra Everette - who tackled the Flying Dutchman in St. Maarten, the world's steepest zip line, all while being harnessed in a chair and strapped tight so that she couldn’t fly out at any point on her journey down. Way to go, Khyra! You are one brave woman who wasn't afraid to step up her game when it comes to living life to its fullest! Kudos!
