MOBILITY MONDAY

Message From Our Executive Director, Greg Stuart

Good morning and L'Shanah Tovah! In this edition of Mobility Monday, we're talking about achieving safe streets for all in Broward County. Did you know that Broward County ranks among the most dangerous regions in the country for pedestrian and cyclist fatalities? Saving lives is a top priority of leaders both locally and nationally, and that’s why Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization and Broward County Government are jointly pursuing the Safe Streets and Roads for All federal grant program. Focusing on safety and equity, this award would fund an intensive study of the entire county, identifying vulnerable areas and planning low-cost, high-impact solutions that save lives. Together, we can bring federal taxpayer dollars back to South Florida to keep our residents safe and grow our economy.
