Happy Monday! Later this month, I will be presenting at the ITS America Conference & Expo in Texas. The conference will bring together experts from the intelligent transportation community around the world. This is a major event for thought-provoking education, networking, and real-time demonstrations of the latest technologies and solutions for the future. The shift to electric vehicles (EVs) is gaining strong support as people look for greener and more sustainable transportation options. EVs offer zero emissions during operation and greater energy-efficiency compared to traditional vehicles. Major automakers are now investing in the development of EV technology, while governments are providing incentives to spur consumer adoption. With the bipartisan infrastructure bill passed by the US Congress, there is a substantial investment in EV infrastructure such as charging stations and battery technology research. I’m looking forward to discovering what’s new in ITS technologies, uncovering innovative solutions, networking with leading practitioners, and bringing best practices and lessons learned back to our region!
