Butterflies HCC
Oh, sweet Butterfly, how beautiful you are.
You hover from place to place.
Do you know where you are going?
Do you know how far?
You are small, so little.
But I am sure you’re smart.
From petal to petal, you fly.
You look like a work of art.
You go through a changing,
From tiny egg to a cocoon.
Where you sit some time just waiting,
Then suddenly you bloom.
You’re as pretty as a flower,
But you’re an insect, who would guess?
When we look at you, just know,
You give much happiness.
Dear Butterfly with splendid color,
God’s unending grace.
They love the warmth of summer.
They're gone at Autumn's gate.
A majesty of beauty,
A miracle from above.
A gift so freely given,
From God with all his love.
