HEALING THE SICK

Are you waiting for a healing evangelist to come to town so someone that needs healing can be prayed for?

We should not wait until a healing meeting” comes to town” to reach out with our faith and touch people.

We must activate our faith and always be instant in season to be the conduit between man and God. Each day should be a day full of God’s best.

We do not need to wait until a special event to be used by God in God’s Kingdom! God wants His soldiers to be ready at any given moment to do battle! So often people wait for the leadership of a ministry or church to set the standard, while God is waiting on each of us individually to be used in His Kingdom.

You might say “I don’t have the gifts that others have.” That is where you are in error. It isn’t you that heals anyone. It is God and faith in his promises. When we look at Mark chapter 16 verses 17a and 18b it says, “17a And these signs shall follow them that believe;” [that is any believer, not just one that has been endowed with the gift of healing]. “18b…They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Again, in the book of James it says in verse15, “And the prayer of faith shall save [heal] the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.”

All that one needs to see healing happen is to believe God’s Word and believe when they pray for someone to be healed that it will happen just as the word of God says.

The old song “Only Believe” is faith acting on God’s promises in His Word. Trust God and His word and let your faith be put into action.

There is no place in scripture that God's leaders in the church retired. It is a lifelong commitment to God to do what He has called you to do. The church needs its seniors now more than ever. Those that have forged through the fires. Those that have paid the price for the oil of the Holy Spirit. Those that are burning with the flame of God and not burning out. Churches are making a grave mistake by not using their seasoned seniors. Be the one that says, "I am going on no matter what." Continue to be the example needed by the younger generation.

Monday Thought For Today

God can use even an everyday item in your home to bring a teaching to you. Case in point, He used a red cracked dish with me. You can feel so sure that God is no where to be found and you are all alone. He showed me that my red cracked bowl represented my life. To everyone around me I looked good like there was nothing wrong. But He saw the little cracks on the inside and He knew how broken I really was.

That is how most of us are. We look fine to the outside world but inside our heart is broken in pieces. Your path to wholeness and restoration can take many forms but do not neglect the process. It starts with being honest with your Heavenly Father about how you think and feel about your life. Seek Him, spend time allowing His healing to flow into your heart. Make no mistake; God has the ability to restore and heal ALL the wounds of your heart. He is waiting for you to surrender it to Him.

“Because she has set her love upon Me, therefore I will deliver her; I will set her on high, because she has known My name. She shall call upon Me, and I will answer her; I will be with her in trouble; I will deliver her and honor her. With long life I will satisfy her, And show her My salvation.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is your promise from God to go with you through the process of restoration.

This scripture I paraphrased to make it personal for you. Change the ‘she/her pronoun to he/his/him, if you are a guy.

Now you can be assured that even though at times you feel as if Jesus is running LATE in answering your prayers; Oh, but He is always RIGHT ON TIME. Just ask Lazurus and his family. (John 11) Therefore today you too can know that our faithful God has your impossible looking situation on His to do list. So you just sit back, keep the faith, BELIEVE that you will RECEIVE and then you simply; Leave the DRIVING and the TIMING in God's hands...And Trust Him through it all.
