The movement of the grahas (planets) from one sign to another impact the individuals in their daily life. Guru (Jupiter), is one of the nine planets or Navagrahas. As per ancient 
Vedic 
texts it is a natural benefic planet and is 
one of the most influential planets, as it takes 12 years to transit once through the 12 signs. On Monday, Sept 11th, Jupiter will transit from Kanya  Rasi (Virgo) into Thula Rasi (Libra). The planet impacts marriage, children, wealth etc. A well placed or aspected Jupiter will lead to happy and prosperous life. If the planet is negatively impacted then doing Shanti puja will balance or reduce the negative bearings on the individual. Worship of Jupiter results in cure from physical illness as well as good progeny, education and longevity of life.
