Community Appreciation Awards
The Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce was honored to attend the Community Appreciation Awards hosted by Hands of Hope Calgary and the Indian Society of Airdrie on December 28th. This event was an opportunity to recognize volunteers in Airdrie, Chestermere, and Calgary, for their hard work, dedication and continued support.
Mayor Peter Brown expressed his gratitude to the volunteers and emphasized the importance of their contributions. Premier Danielle Smith also addressed and congratulated the recipients, who included three of our valuable volunteers Dave Maffit, and Wendy and Michel Contant.
Entertainment included talented dancers who brought vibrant energy to the stage with their intricate choreography, colorful traditional costumes, and captivating performances, showcasing the richness of Indian culture.
Congratulations to all the recipients and thank you for all you do for your communities.
