By the time you read this on Tuesday evening, I should be home from dental surgery, and my face and neck may be a lovely shade of purple and red! Let’s see what Murfee and the Gang think of that! Wonder if they will recognize me or think that I’m morphing into a redhead just like they all are. Except for Emi, who is all white and champaign and looks more like I do pre-surgery. I guess the adage is true: the longer we’re together, the more we begin to look alike! As long as I don’t come out of anesthesia and start acting like Murfee, I think we’ll all be okay. So that’s where my brain is this beautiful Saturday afternoon as I try to talk about bits and pieces of things.

I had a nice conversation with Joyce and Ron Blowers this morning as they came in to review Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s classes with Lynn. They are here for Joyce’s QCT camp, and are here from Rochester, New York. Joyce has been with us to teach about the Software used with our Grace/Q’nique longarm machines, and she is just EXCELLENT!!! For this camp, both coasts and the south will be represented due to Joyce’s reputation in the industry. We will be making plans for her next return to us, so please let us know if you’re interested, and be on the lookout for the next scheduled camp.  

Thursday is Halloween, and I hope you all have a spooktacular day, collecting and eating all kinds of candy! I remember many years ago, living in a Ca. apartment complex with most of the people our age, we would all dress up in something stupid, and have a “Trick or Drink” party…amazing what we thought of when we were all young and stupid! But, no driving or kids were involved, so we were pretty safe from both ourselves and our community. And then we grew up. Hmmmm….maybe those were considered the good old days by some.
