As Summer Winds Down, We're Ramping Up!
As summer winds down and the new school year begins, there's an air of excit ement around our community. We certainly feel it at City Hall as we work hard to implement a number of important projects and programs, some of which we have waited for a long time.

The passage of Measure T is allowing us to invest wisely in today's infrastructure and avoid costly deferred maintenance. We can now bring Police and Fire staffing levels in line with our growing population, and integrate technology that will move with us into the future. Also, over the next few months almost half of all residential streets will be slurry sealed with another 40% the following year! And with all of this, we are expanding our connections-with neighboring cities, local businesses and residents.

I invite you to take this journey with us. Check out our   City Priorities Workplan e-book for more exciting programs being launched over the next two years. Visit our OpenGov portal to view past, current and future financials, and make sure to engage with us on social media. After all, we are connected by community.
