NEWS FROM THE OUTSIDE
June 2018
As a kick-off to summer, join us for our annual Watershed Festival on June 9th, in conjunction with the Fish and Wildlife Service at the Bozeman Fish Technology Center!

The kid's fishing derby will begin at 9 am sharp! Our friends with the Fish and Wildlife Service will be on hand to help you clean and wrap two fish to take home for dinner.

Lunch and ducks (see below) will be available for purchase with all proceeds helping to get more science education into classrooms across Montana. For a full list of exhibitors, click here!
Wildflowers Popping on Drinking Horse
The wet spring has helped our local wildflowers to POP! Stop by the Drinking Horse Trail to see the current bloomers; Arrowleaf Balsamroot, Larkspur, Eastern Pasqueflower, and Wyoming Kittentail just to name a few!

Stop by our offices if you need some ideas on where to look for these earthen beauties!
Discovery Walks with GVLT
Are your children too young for MOSS camp? Why not join us for a Discovery Walk geared towards preschoolers? Our friends at Gallatin Valley Land Trust host several walks and MOSS instructors lead those focused on younger kids. Each walk focuses on a different topic on a different trail, something for everyone! See full schedule here.
