Information for Family, Friends and Patients About Cloth Face Coverings
In light of the extension of the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" order by Governor Whitmer, one of the requirements is that individuals wear cloth face coverings while in enclosed public spaces. This document provides guidance in this arena.

NOTICE:  Remote Pharmacy Legislation
The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), Bureau of Professional Licensing (BPL), would like to inform you of changes to pharmacy licensure as a result of recent legislation.  Public Act 4 of 2020 , which takes effect on April 26, 2020, provides for a parent pharmacy to operate a remote pharmacy through a telepharmacy system. On April 26, 2020, the BPL will begin accepting applications for remote pharmacies via MiPLUS licensing system at www.michigan.gov/miplus . Parent pharmacies that wish to submit a remote pharmacy application must select “Modification” next to their pharmacy license in MiPLUS to access the application.

 MPA COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall
Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m.
MPA is providing an opportunity for you to participate in our COVID-19 Town Hall meeting this Monday, April 27, 2020, from 7-8 p.m . The Town Hall will feature Jennifer Lixey Terrill, Healthcare and Public Health Policy Specialist and Emergency Management Coordinator, Bureau of EMS, Trauma, and Preparedness with the State of Michigan and Farah Jalloul, MPA State Pharmacy Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, with an update on current issues related to COVID-19 and the State of Michigan’s response to the pandemic. Individuals will also have the opportunity to identify issues that they believe MPA could assist them in solving.
