Dear Seniors, Juniors, and Parents of the Class of 2022 and 2023,

We are thrilled to share that we will be hosting our Junior-Senior Prom on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Ponce City Market.

April 29 is also our Family Serve Day. There are no classes on this date, but students will need to complete an approved Family Serve Day activity to be eligible to attend prom. The requirement has always been that a student must attend school for half a day to attend prom, so you must register for and complete one of the official Family Serve Day activities to attend prom this year. Mr. Kyle and Mrs. Murphy will be communicating the Family Serve Day details very soon. Be sure you register for a spot!
Arrivals/Departures: One of our main priorities is to host a safe and memorable prom for our junior and senior classes as we have prom outside on top of Ponce City Market. Students should arrive at the venue between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. Those dining out should reserve enough time to ensure their arrival no later than 9:00 p.m. Following their check-in, students will not be allowed to leave the dance until it concludes at 11:00 p.m.

Expectations for Attire: The high school faculty and administration will supervise this event and expect students to dress modestly and exercise discernment when deciding what to wear. Any clothing deemed inappropriate by an administrator will be addressed and appropriate measures taken, including the possibility of not being admitted into the dance. Parents should give their child(ren) support in selecting attire that abides by the school's mission and covenant. If you are unsure, please ask.

Non-MPCS Student Guests: All non-MPCS students must also meet our MPCS expectations and complete the covenant agreement by April 26.

Again, we desire to host a safe and memorable prom. Ticket sales will be coming out closer to the time of the event. Please be in prayer over this event.

Blessings,
