A Gift from David Gwynn '60A Gives a New Look to Upper School Math Classroom
School Jim Foley, Head of School, stands next to a plaque honoring David Gwynn '60A.
Alumni contributions have long been critical to the success of MPH. We are grateful to our alums, who continue to support new generations of students through their generosity to MPH.
David Gwynn '60A, who attended the Manlius School, is one such alum whose continued care for MPH has made a difference. This fall we were delighted to honor David with a new plaque outside one of the MPH Upper School math classrooms in McNeil Hall. Thank you, David and Vivian, for this wonderful gift!

Innovation in our Community and Classroom
"Do the stuff you like doing, and that's your secret sauce." - Sarah Matt, MD, MBA
|
Current MPH parent Sarah Matt, MD, MBA - the Chief Strategy Officer at SOVATO - visited MPH's robotics class last week, sharing the history and development of robotic surgery, her career path, and how she’s working to make remote robotic surgery a reality at SOVATO. Her presentation and subsequent discussion provided a unique opportunity for students to learn about cutting-edge applications of robotics in healthcare and to hear directly from someone at the forefront of this field.
More than anything, Dr. Matt shared that being a lifelong learner - a component of MPH's mission - has contributed significantly to her path and success.

Book Buddies
Eighth grade students in Ms. Doyle's English class have worked hard creating original books about a kindergarten buddy from Ms. Gannon's class. Students met with their buddies on several occasions to get to know them better and would be able to write a short story. After writing, revising, and creating illustrations, the 8th-grade students shared the stories with their buddy. The kindergarteners enjoyed listening to the finished story about themselves.

MPH Red & White Society
Announcing Young Alumni Giving Levels
Give back and support the next generation at MPH!
| |
This year, we are excited to launch the Red & White Society, to celebrate donors with annual contributions of $1970+ with additional levels for our young alums 0-5 years out ($19.70) and 5-10 years out ($197) from graduation. A smaller recurring monthly gift is a great way to support MPH and reach these giving levels. Recurring gifts can be easily set up on our giving page.
As key partners in our program, members of the Red & White Society receive special recognition, swag, and event invitations. Please see details on our giving page. We hope you will consider joining our Red & White Society today!
In honor of the merger, in 1970, that created the Manlius Pebble Hill School, the Red & White Society honors donors who ensure MPH's continued excellence through annual leadership gifts of $1,970 and greater. A smaller, recurring monthly gift is a great way to support MPH and reach these giving levels.
