Public Health in the Schools Initiative

Community Health Fairs

Recently, our initiative was thrilled to engage with students and community members for two community health fairs!

Students from Helena High School, Capital High School, and Anderson Middle School attended a health fair at the Delta Hotel. Scheduled to utilize momentum from the Confluence Conference, students had the opportunity to engage with a panel of public health professionals and post-secondary academic leaders in public and environmental health.

At Butte High School, we were excited to dialogue with students about careers in public health as part of their high school Career Fair. Representatives from the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow Health Department and DPHHS joined, among many other organizations, to promote public health as a great career choice for Montana students.

Stay tuned for updates about our next health fairs in Philipsburg/Drummond, Fort Belknap, Browning, and more!
