Public Health in the Schools Initiative

Please help us spread the word!

As Montana youth embark on a new school year, we would love your help spreading the word with your local schools about our initiative.

Key components of our project include:

  • A comprehensive and customizable public health curriculum covering the five core disciplines of public health.
  • A bonus lesson incorporating local data from PurpleAir monitors.
  • A spring virtual teacher workshop to bring together Montana teachers incorporating public health activities in their classes.
  • Connecting students with public health professionals for job shadowing, internships, and guest lectures.

Do you have other ideas for growing this initiative? We would love to talk with you!
