MPI New Jersey Chapter Celebrates its 28th Annual Golf Event, Despite the Rain!
Rain may have been in the forecast, but it certainly did not dampen the spirit of the MPI New Jersey Chapter during its 28th Annual Golf Event at Stanton Ridge Golf & Country Club on Tuesday, June 23rd! Members, suppliers, sponsors, and volunteers came together for a day filled with friendly competition, networking, giving back, and plenty of laughs—proving once again that nothing can stop this incredible community from having a great time.
The day offered something for everyone. While dedicated golfers took to the course, another enthusiastic group enjoyed an exciting pickleball experience at a nearby Pickleball Club. Whether participants were seasoned athletes or trying something new for the first time, the energy and enthusiasm were evident throughout the day.
The golfers embraced the rainy conditions and played their hearts out, demonstrating determination, sportsmanship, and a true love for the game. Meanwhile, attendees who were less golf-savvy had the opportunity to learn and play pickleball. The experience was welcoming, engaging, and filled with friendly competition.
Following the pickleball activities, participants enjoyed a unique and interactive charcuterie board workshop led by Tara from "Cheese the Day". The creative session provided the perfect opportunity to relax, learn a new skill, and connect with fellow members and industry partners.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas once again hosted the popular Beverage Station, and the Grille Station sponsored by Hilton FL Hotels. Their outstanding service and support were truly appreciated and added another special touch to the day's festivities.
As the day transitioned into the early evening, attendees gathered for a lively dinner reception generously sponsored by Wind Creek Bethlehem. The reception offered a chance to celebrate the day's activities while enjoying great food, conversation, and camaraderie. One of the evening's highlights was the highly anticipated raffle prize giveaway. Thanks to the generosity of our supplier partners, attendees had the opportunity to win an impressive assortment of prizes. Smiles filled the room as winning numbers were announced and excited recipients collected their rewards. Adding to the excitement was the ever-popular 50/50 raffle, which awarded the lucky winner more than $500.
The crowd also eagerly watched the return of the crowd-favorite Drone Drop, sponsored by Peregrine Hospitality. As in years past, the event delivered excitement, anticipation, and plenty of cheers as attendees waited to see who would walk away as winners. Recognition was also given to participants who excelled throughout the day with our Golf Awards and Paddles & Platters Awards.
Beyond the fun and fellowship, the event also provided an opportunity to support an important cause. Attendees generously contributed to the Interfaith Food Pantry Network, helping individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout the community. This charitable component serves as a reminder that MPI New Jersey Chapter events are about more than networking—they are about making a meaningful impact.
Events of this caliber are only possible because of the dedication and hard work of many individuals. Special thanks go to our Special Events Committee, Chapter President Stephanie Maurice, our incredible Chapter Administrator, Heather Kresge, and the many volunteers who generously gave their time and talents to ensure a successful day. Their commitment continues to create memorable experiences for our chapter members and partners.
Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to Stanton Ridge Golf & Country Club for being exceptional hosts and partners. Their hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that every attendee felt welcomed and well cared for despite the rainy weather.
The MPI New Jersey Chapter is fortunate to have an incredible network of members, suppliers, sponsors, and volunteers who make events like this possible. Together, we spent a rainy day doing what we do best - building relationships, networking, giving back, sharing laughs, and creating lasting memories.
Thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, volunteered, and supported the 28th Annual Golf Event. We are already looking forward to seeing you next year!
