“Dreams can come true with God’s great angels like you.” - Garth Brooks
By definition, the word membership means “the fact of being a member of a group”. By definition, the word member means “one of the individuals composing a group”. Synonyms for these two words are belonging, community, representatives, fellows, comrades, building blocks, part, and piece.
I bring up these words this month for two very important reasons. First, I hope to see everyone at our Membership Drive in Chattanooga on April 28th at the Gilman Event Hall. I want to thank Kenneth Zahn and DeFoor Hospitality Group for hosting us. We have a discounted guest room rate should you choose to spend the night along with many people carpooling. Please reach out if you need help with transportation.
Second, one of our most cherished family members of our MPI Tennessee community has been awarded an MPI Global RISE award this year. This person is not just a member, she is our building block, a representative for not only our community but for our industry, a connector, a mentor, a leader, an inspiration, an overachiever, a caring and loving woman, and a Garth Brooks loving good time havin’ Queen.
