“Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365- page book. Write a good one.” – Brad Paisley
Do you remember when December used to be a slow month for our industry? Typically, the first week was the last full week of business with a few last-minute holiday parties and weddings sprinkled in between. Psych! In true 2021 fashion, there is no sight of slowing down.
On top of coordinating reindeer on the roof of hotels, transforming lobbies into winter wonderlands, attending a zillion conferences in other cities, shopping for gifts to make sure they arrive in time, hoping they are not on a slow boat to China, y’all are performing and producing nothing short of miracles. Sometimes it can feel like the true wonder of this season is getting dressed in the morning. All I can say is put those positive pants on and shine bright like a diamond!
It’s crazy to think that the next time you read this message we will be in 2022!!! So, from the absolute bottom of my heart, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa, Jubilant Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Exultant St. Lucia Day, Peaceful Boxing Day, Enjoyable Omisoka, Happy Yule, Cheerful Saturnalia, Blissful Winter Solstice, Gleeful Day of Goodwill, Festive Taylor Swift’s Birthday, Indulgent Sangria Day, and since I probably missed some… Happy Holidays and all my love for a Prosperous New Year.
