Happy holidays y’all!!! Listening to our chapter members, it sounds like everyone’s fall and winter have been crazy busy, so thank you for any time you’ve committed to joining us at an MPI Tennessee event, volunteering for the chapter, or even just giving us a shout out to a future member.
Speaking of, we had a great crowd at CONNECT 2.0 last month where the education team did a wonderful job of reimagining our signature education event of the year. On Thursday night, planners and suppliers got a great chance to meet and mingle, and see how they could make #buyMPI even more impactful through new relationships. And on Friday, we had some awesome education topped off with a keynote by Michael Dominguez. Regardless of your job function, I hope everyone took away a few nuggets of wisdom about leadership to put into play. I’d like to take a moment to give a big thank you to the team that really made CONNECT 2.0 a reality, led by Cory Brooks, Sarah Brown, Sharon Winters and Donna Bayless. Thank you, ladies!!!!
Wrapping up 2018 and moving into 2019, we’re not slowing down! We have holiday parties this month in both Nashville and Memphis and a not-to-be-missed recruitment event in January. Then we start a GREAT slate of educational speakers across the state in February. Make sure to visit our webpage often so that you can put a hold on your calendars for these events.
